As officers attempted to stop the suspect -- wanted also possibly for a possible domestic violence situation -- he fled with a woman and child in his car.
Early on in the chase, the suspect let the woman and child leave the vehicle.
Officers said the woman and child were uninjured.
The female was also described as being "uncooperative" with the police investigation.
Larry Welk reporting in Sky 9 said it appeared after an hour of being pursued, the suspect turned around and headed back to where the chase first started.
Welk said the suspect at various times said he would not give up and also said he would give up after talking to his girlfriend. The suspect also reportedly volunteered to turn himself in to Sheriff's deputies.
At various times during the chase the suspect stuck his hand, or both hands and even his head out the window.
After more than an hour and a half he continued to keep police at bay.
