A pair of men suspected in shooting were arrested Friday after a high-speed chase ended in Studio City.
The chase began just before 5 p.m. in the 13800 block of Archwood Street, near Woodman Avenue, in Van Nuys, Los Angeles police spokesman Jason Lee said. Officers were responding to a report of a dispute at a home with shots fired.
The two suspects, men in their 20s, were fleeing in a silver BMW when they arrived.
The chase winded through Van Nuys and North Hollywood onto Ventura Boulevard in Studio City.
The suspect drove on the wrong side of the street at times. The chase ended when the BMW crashed into two parked cars and a motorcycle on Viewcrest Road, near Laurel Canyon Boulevard, Lee said.
One suspect got out of the car and surrendered immediately, but the other jumped over a fence and ran through the backyards of several homes. Police set up a perimeter and used dogs to find the man, eventually locating him in a tool shed at about 6:15 p.m.
No one was hurt in the shooting or chase.
