Tenn. Dad Names Baby 'Sarah McCain Palin'

Mark Ciptak is such a hardcore supporter of Republican presidential candidate John McCain and his running mate, Sarah Palin, that he decided to name his newborn girl 'Sarah McCain Palin'.

A father in Johnson City, Tennessee is going to remember this Election year for a long time to come.
That's because Mark Ciptak named his newborn daughter Sarah McCain Palin. Ciptak and his wife originally named their daughter Ava Grace but Ciptak changed the name on her birth certificate without his wife's consent.
"I'm totally McCain all the way," said Ciptak.
He says he didn't feel any regret until the next day but that didn't keep him from changing her name back. Luckily Ciptak didn't name his daughter John McCain as he originally intended.
The Tennessee Department of Health's office of vital records says the family has one year to file an affadavit requesting a name change.
As for his wife, she doesn't appear too pleased and is avoiding speaking with the media. "Hopefully, I'll get only two weeks in the doghouse rather than two months," said Ciptak.
