Man Robs U.S. Bank Branch In Temecula
TEMECULA
A man robbed a U.S. Bank branch today in a Temecula Albertsons store, a police sergeant said.
The man walked into the Albertsons on Winchester Avenue, east of The
Promenade, just before noon, and gave a teller a note threatening to shoot her if she did not give him cash, said Temecula police Sgt. Bruce Anderson.
No gun was seen by the teller.
A security video shows a balding man who appears to be in his 40s, with
unkempt facial hair and a gap in his front teeth. He wore a black button-down shirt and beige slacks.
Police believe he may be connected to another robbery at a U.S. Bank off
Rancho California Road June 1, said Anderson.
Anyone with information about the robber was asked to call police at (951) 696-3000, ext. 131.
