Bob McCormick

Bob McCormick joined KCAL 9 and CBS 2 in October 2007.

Bob covers the money beat and contributes reports about Wall Street, the economy, business matters, gas prices, mortgages and home prices; literally any subject that deals with money in a comprehensive, but easy-to-understand way...call it "Money 101."

During his more than 25 years in the business Bob has covered political conventions, natural disasters, hostage stand-offs and major criminal trials but it is for reporting about money that he is best known.

Bob recently won the Los Angeles Press Club and California / Nevada AP Awards for his investigative series on a strawberry pyramid scheme in Ventura County and the KNX Business Show has garnered several Golden Mike awards, including in 2004 for Best Economic Reporting.

Prior to joining KNX, Bob worked in San Francisco as news anchor for KPIX Radio, KPIX-TV, KCBS-AM and KOFY-TV. From l991-94 Bob was also news director and an anchor for KRLD in Dallas.
