Rich DeMuro

Rich DeMuro is a reporter covering technology for KCBS/KCAL.
 
Previously, he was senior editor at CNET TV, a technology website. There he created and hosted "The Queue," a show about all things digital. Rich also was also a regular technology expert on various TV shows and networks including Fox News Channel, CNN, The Today Show, ABC News Tech Bytes and MSNBC.
 
Rich is originally from New Jersey but he decided to go to the University of Southern California after getting the school's glossy brochure in the mail. Rich graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
 
Upon graduation, Rich headed up to the Pacific Northwest for his first reporting job at KNDO-TV in Yakima, Washington. There, he was a one-man-band, shooting and editing all of his own stories. Rich also worked in Shreveport, Louisiana at KTAL-TV as a consumer reporter for several years. His "Test it Tuesday" segment tried out those interesting devices you often see advertised on infomercials and wonder - do they really work?
 
Rich was also a reporter for Channel One News in Los Angeles. He traveled around the United States, filing stories for the daily program beamed to thousands of middle and high school students nationwide.
