Jenn McBride
Jenn McBride joined the CBS 2/KCAL 9 news team as a webcaster and online news producer in February 2006 after moving home to Southern California from New York City, where she graduated magna cum laude with an M.A. in journalism from New York University.
During her time there, Jenn interned at ABC News' Brian Ross Investigative Unit and assisted with pieces airing on World News Tonight, Primetime and 20/20. She says seeing Ross' relentless pursuit of truth firsthand confirmed her desire to pursue a career in broadcast journalism.
She also loves to write and served as an editorial assistant for Angeleno and Front Desk magazines here in Los Angeles from 2003 to 2005.
Jenn graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a B.A. in print journalism and a minor in communication and the entertainment industry. As you may have guessed from encountering those crazy USC people who seem to be peppered across the Southland, Jenn is very proud to be a part of the Trojan family.
In her spare time, she loves to run, travel and spend time with family and friends.
Jenn lives with her husband and their two cats, Dippy and Buttons. Jenn and her husband adopted Buttons after seeing one of Jennifer Sabih's stories.
