Amelia Earhart
CBS 2 has found Amelia Earhart! Well, not THAT one, but a woman with a penchant for flying just the same. Our Amelia Earhart is the newest CBS 2 news team member, as a reporter and photographer from the sky.
Earhart, who shares a name and a passion for flying with her famed ancestor, record-shattering pilot Amelia Earhart, is part of the only female helicopter team in news in America.
Earhart was born in Southern California.
At age 15, she moved to Kansas, where her famous namesake was born.
Our newest team member tells reporter Dave Malkoff that she also lives near the Amelia Earhart Library.
