BB9 Blog: Dick Is Back!
LOS ANGELES (CBS) ―
Want to know the best part of tonight's episode? I'll give you a hint. 8 letters and a penchant for gross body noises.
That's right --
Evel Dick! Our favorite ex-house-guest was back in the house, banging on his pots and pans, flirting with all the women, and hosting a POV competition involving his favorite disgusting hangover cures.
Seeing him in the house made me once again think about how these house-guests have kind of lost their steam. They were so crazy at first, with their orgies and screaming fits and tears, but lately they've just become kind of "blah." I really wished that Evel would have announced that he had moved in permanently.
Ah, but that was wishful thinking on my part, so I guess I'll just have to hope that he comes and visits us again here at CBS2.com
In any event, tonight's show actually revealed a lot. James and Chelsia were placed on the block by Adam, and it was time for these lazy lovebirds to have to step up their individual games.
James has really shown the most change lately, I think. Ever since he was voted out/brought back in, he's been super serious and offended by everything going on in the house. Offended that he was put on the block -- hello, James?!, this is Big Brother. Of course you're going to be nominated at some point.
You know who hasn't been nominated in 7 weeks? Joshuah, and he's the first one to tell the diary room how amazing that makes him. Gotta hand it to Joshuah, he's lucky to be with such a dense, cowardly crowd. He has screamed at several of the women -- Amanda, Allison, Sheila -- with such rage and terror that it's kind of surprising he wasn't reprimanded, and yet, here he is still.
Anyway, so the veto competition with Evel was highly entertaining. The house-guests had to drink some seriously gross stuff -- catfish and beets? ew -- and then play Rock And Roll Croquet. Once again, amazingly, James wins and is granted the POV.
Poor Adam, who really hasn't enjoyed his run as HOH at all, has to now decide who to put up in James' place on the block along with Chelsia. Obviously James isn't going to save her, as before the competition started, he jokingly-but-not told her she should just throw it to be fair, since he had already been voted out. Kind of a jerky move, buddy.
Joshuah gets worried, of course, when James wins the veto, as now Adam's only choices for a nomination replacement are himself, Sharon, Ryan and Sheila. Obviously Adam will likely choose Josh or Sharon, so Josh starts buttering her up, telling her things like how she's a saint in the house and he'll probably be nominated.
Somehow, this makes Sharon think that it would be better for her to go up against Chelsia -- don't ask me how she arrived at martyrdom so quickly -- so she tells Adam that it's fine to put her up. She's confident that she'll stay and that Chelsia will leave. In Sharon's head, if Josh were to go against Chelsia, he'd be voted out and he's her partner and she wants to win with her partner. Not so bright Sharon just can't imagine Joshuah betraying her, despite the fact that he's been so quick to turn on other women in the house.
So, Adam does what is asked of him and Sharon is now up against Chelsia. Josh gloats that he's the "master of the house muahahah" and you know what? He really does have a good thing going, I'll give him that.
Who do you think will go home tomorrow night -- Sharon or Chelsia? And are Chelsia and James through romantically now that he gave her that rude little punch in the arm and the "you're probably gone, sorry!" snide remark? Did you miss Evel Dick as much as I did?
