BB9 Blog: Who Can You Trust?

 Complete 'Big Brother' News

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― As I'm sure you've seen, we've done a lot of Big Brother stuff around here lately. We've had one of our own go into the house, we've interviewed past houseguests and we've done special interviews with the new ones.

But still, despite all that work, I still feel like I don't really understand the day-to-day life of being in there. I mean, these new houseguests have only been in there a week, and already people loathe each other, don't trust each other and have given away pretty huge secrets. How have they accomplished so much so soon?

Well anyway, episode 2 is filled with divulgences, double-meaningful looks and, frankly, a lot of butt-grabbing. A perfect night of BB!

We begin with Parker and Jen basking in the glow of their win.
Parker: "We are the 'power couple.' We're like Brad and Angelina."

Jen has slightly less lofty comparisons in her head. She's just excited that she has the power to keep secret boyfriend Ryan safe from elimination.

Meanwhile, Sheila and Adam are still at it. These two must just HATE each other. Except for when they're randomly hugging and touching, of course.

But Adam definitely pissed Sheila off when he was talking about his charity work and expressed his interest in opening a hair salon for special needs children, "so the retards can get their hair done," he says.

The looks on Sheila and Matt's faces when Adam told them this were absolutely priceless. And there Adam stood, with that dumb, half-open-mouthed grin on his face, wondering why no one found that funny.

Sheila: "How can you say that? You're disgusting."
Adam: "I work with them all day long. I can call them whatever I want."

In the not-so-offensively-charged kitchen, Allison is asking Ryan if she's his type. She's wondering if he's as into her as she is into him. "I feel a real connection with Ryan, more than a friendship"

Jen is upset that she's had to distance herself from real-life boyfriend Ryan. And she's worrying over having to be so close with Parker. Her temporary solution? Sneaking Ryan away from everyone else and planting a big smacker on him. Kissy kissy. The two of them are SOOO getting found out. Not sneaky enough at all.

Speaking of smacking, Alex is still really enjoying spending time around Amanda's butt. Alex and Amanda are totally into being each other's soul mates. Well, the "mate" part at least.

Jacob decides to create some drama. He confides in Adam and Ryan (his two most trustworthy buddies) that Parker is way too into the money. He says that someone said that Parker is a snake.

Eventually Parker finds out and instead of stewing about it, he decides to confront the whole house (waking most of them up in the middle of the night) to find out who said he was a snake. "I will not tolerate people talking s__t," he says. Good on him for going after everyone. Of course, he is a TMZ photog, used to getting in people's faces.

He definitely scored points with Jen, who seems to be liking Parker more and more every second. She's proud of him for having the cajones to confront the house.

Sharon, Jacob's scorned-ex and reluctant soul mate, is pissed that Jacob went and made the big story up without confiding in her.

Why is this little scene being dragged out so long? It's kind of boring.

Oh! Now Sharon is implying to Parker that it was really Ryan who said Parker was a snake, and Jen decides she has to tell Parker the truth about her and Ryan's real relationship! So much for that twist.

Geez, BB. That seemed like a lot of time wasted on gossip just to reveal the silly reason why Jen prematurely blew the secret.

And Ryan seems mad that she did that so soon, too. Why does she trust Parker so much all of a sudden? She's known him a few days; she's been dating Ryan for 9 months. Very fishy. And more so because Parker seems genuinely bummed that Jen est attaché.

Aw, poor Allison. Ryan had to tell her about Jen and she is upset. "You and her are what?"

In the diary room she goes on. "Ryan would be better off with someone like me who is less jealous and catty and needs to be the center of attention constantly. " MEOW!!!

Alll together now..........
Allison: "I do not trust Jen"
Jen: "I don't trust Allison."
Ryan: "I don't trust Parker."
Parker: "I don't think I can trust Ryan"

After all that, who are Parker and Jen going to evict? Sneaky Jacob and poor Sharon, or negative soul mates Adam and Sheila.

Jacob and Sharon, it is. They don't look too sad to be leaving though. Probably a relief. But Jen is sobbing hysterically because she feels so bad about it. Everyone is saying "I love you." What a sweet crowd.

Sheila and Adam share a relieved hug. Um. Weird. And ew.

So this is interesting. Evidently we're done with the whole "power couple" thing for now because we're back to a regular HOH. The backyard has been turned into a "How Well Do You Know Your Partner?" game-show.

Ohh! And a couple who found love in the BB house are hosting…Who is it...ERIC AND JESSICA!!

Aww. How much did we miss Jessica's little cupcake voice and Eric's eye-rolling? Those two crazy kids are really making it work!

Sheila and Adam have started hugging each other often. Eric notices and says, "could be 'full speed ahead' after all for them." Yes, really. Could they be feeling the soul mate-love after all?

Parker and Jen are really flirting it up during this competition. Ryan doesn't look happy and even Allison seems miffed on his behalf. Gotta hand it to her. First she lets him sweat all over her, then she's mad at his secret-girlfriend's shoddy treatment of him. Boy, she DOES like to gamble!

Bikini-barrista Natalie gets to wear a naughty-nurse outfit in this competition. Venti, double-shot, indeed!

Finally…Alex and Amanda win HOH.
Alex says, "Everyone needs to be scared."

But no one seems to be. Allison is annoyed she now has to play for both herself and Ryan AND for Jen. She's not sure how much longer she wants to keep their relationship secret. Interesting. I'm guessing that everyone finds out about Jen and Ryan on Sunday, defunking that little twist.

Which only means… there is probably a new twist on the way! Does anyone miss Jacob and Sharon already? I felt there was a lot of potential drama there. And who's going to hook up first – Natalie and Matt or Alex and Amanda? And Crazy James…can you bring us some crazy?? What happened to all those moustache parties you promised?

Lemme know what you think and tune in for Sunday!
