BB9 Blog: James' Sweet Revenge
LOS ANGELES (CBS) ―
I dunno about you guys, but I needed those few days off since Thursday to forgive Big Brother for being so tricky last week.
But now it's a new week, it's Sunday, let's move on.
So, again, we have two different sides in the house.
On the one:
James
Chelsia
Josh
Sharon
On the other is:
Ryan
Sheila
Matt
Natalie
Adam
James is pretty bitter about being backdoored and evicted, but obviously he gets some serious sweet revenge by being brought right back in by the same people who voted him out.
During the HOH competition -- a really rough one where the guests are suspended in the air on chains and have to stay on the longest -- he fights hard and waits everyone out but Natalie. They're there for over four hours, and no one can believe Natalie's serious strength.
But, as we well know, love conquers all, and though she says she's staying for herself so that she can be HOH, it's pretty clear that she also doesn't want Matt to be voted out, which might be the case should James win HOH. Eventually, she strikes a deal with him to keep her and Matt, and she falls off the chain.
Matt is finally humbled by the depth of Natalie's feelings for him, and for the first time, shows regret at treating her so nastily. He promises her a massage to thank her for standing up for him. Everyone else in the house yells at him that he better start being nice to her..or else!
So James win HOH, and that is bad news for Ryan, who backdoored him the previous week. It's also potentially bad for whoever didn't vote to bring James back into the house. Sheila and Ryan admit that they didn't want him back, and the other vote was Matt, but he's not coping to that.
Still, James doesn't seem that concerned about any of this. He's going to get rid of Ryan if he can, and one other mystery evictee.
But not everything happening in the house is strategy-related. There is also plenty of time for reflection.
In the midst of their waiting for James' eviction nominees, Matt and Adam take a time out for some bible study.
Matt: "Jacob married two girls in one week."
Adam: "Jacob got busy!"
Ryan comes in, and Matt and Adam share with him about the staggering amount of 'game' that Jacob got back in the Old Testament.
Ryan: "Dude, Jacob's the man."
Next, Matt makes good on his massage promise for Natalie.
Matt: "I love you. Not like that. I love you in a different way"
Natalie is just happy to have finally gotten his attention. She's also managed to once again grab the attention of the censors who have to fuzz-out the side shot of her massive rack.
Meanwhile, Joshuah takes some time to clean up the house, prancing around with a feather duster and pretending he's a French maid.
So yes, as you can see, after all of the drama last week, the house has calmed considerably. James is back, there are clear sides in the house and it's business as usual for certain people -- Natalie still loves Matt, Josh still loves doing goof-ball things for the cameras, etc.
But, eventually we come to the nominees for eviction and it's no surprise that Ryan is put on the block. What is somewhat of a surprise is that Sheila is as well. Why? Well, James says it's because she looked him right in the face and promised him her vote, then screwed him over. I think that he, unlike anyone else really, sees that Sheila is pretty good at manipulating from under the radar.
Either way, a new week, new nominations, let's inject some energy back in this game! Will these nominations shake the house up at all? Do you think Sheila will ever have a chance at winning a Veto power? James and Chelsia -- are they a couple?
Let's hear what you have to say!
