BB9 Blog: The Game Of In-And-Out
LOS ANGELES (CBS) ―
Julie wasn't kidding when she said that we were in store for a night filled with surprises. Episode 11 of Big Brother: 'Till Death Do You Part' lived up to that promise with one major shake-up rocking the house, and more on the way. Plus, America finally gets to start stirring up the BB pot!
This episode started out much like any other Wednesday night. Allison/Ryan and Sheila/Adam were on the block, and both were campaigning to stay in the house.
Unlike previous episodes, however, everyone was also paranoid and unable to sleep because of those mystery alarms that would bring about a huge change in the house.
So here's what went down:
James Outs Matty(No, not in that way, all you Joshuah/Matty hookup-hopefuls.)
James figures out that Matt had told both Ryan and Adam that their teams had his vote to stay in the house, and blows the whistle.
James: "I don't care who you're voting for, but I do care how you're telling people how you're playing."
Matt: "That's Big Brother, buddy. Is that not? Is that not?"
Bikini Barista BackstoryNatalie's co-worker at the Bikini Barista business is a girl named Carmel.
That's all.
The Eviction That Wasn'tJust as Allison and Ryan, the night's evicted couple, were done saying their goodbyes, the newest twist finally happened. The door was locked, the couple couldn't leave and the alarm bells sounded!
Of course, we the viewers already knew what was going to happen, but it was kind of delightful to watch the realizations dawn on certain house-guests' faces. They were told that the evicted two were not going home quite yet. Allison screamed and screamed and screamed some more, so thrilled to have another chance.
Then the group was told that from that moment on, the 'death' part of 'Till Death Do You Part' was happening: they'd all now play as singles.
More screaming, but this time coming from everyone else in the house except Joshuah and Sharon who looked wide-eyed and baffled.
Matty, in particular, was excited at the option of sleeping alone. Natalie, naturally, looked upset. Guess she's never getting that massage.
The Eviction That WasThe surprises weren't over for the house, though. Allison and Ryan were told that now, only one of them was going to be sent home. For real. The house had to vote right then and there to pick one to evict. Allison, previously so delighted, was shocked to silence once again, and cried tears of mascara down her face.
But, and not shockingly at all, she was sent home in a unanimous vote. She was clearly not wanting to say goodbye to or hug anyone again, and only Sharon got one in.
Everyone else was again screaming and celebrating over their break-ups!
Matt: "Now that we're all single again, we're going in the hot tub tonight!"
(Ut oh, we KNOW what happens there.)
Ryan's ReboundGotta hand it to this guy. From day one, he's in the house with his over-bearing, obnoxiously cocky girlfriend, AND saddled to another girl with a similar ego and a nose for stirring up trouble. In fact, all we've ever heard from the guy are comments about the girls in his life and how, basically, they screw stuff up all the time. (He's pretty gentlemanly thus far, so of course he'd never phrase it like that.)
But look at the old guy now. His women are gone, his chains are broken and he's a free man. Free, yes, and apparently carrying an elephantine memory in that noggin of his because he wins the first HOH competition of single-play! Dark horse, indeed!
The question now is, who in the world is he going to put up for eviction? Does he stick with putting up prior couple groupings, say, Joshuah and Sharon, since they put him up last time?
Or does he mix it up and put up random players like Sheila and James at the same time. He's got a world of options and, from what I can tell, no real enemies, as this is the first time he's able to get his play on. Very exciting HOH development for us!
But First, There's More! So, the twists aren't done yet, Julie promises. The surprises aren't over. And the next one, my friends, is one that we get to help facilitate!
You BB fans get to surf on over to
cbs.com and pick one of the evicted house-guests to bring back into the house!
We've got Jacob, Jen, Parker, Amanda, Alex and even Allison to choose from. Those last three are ones we got to know pretty well, but remember how much drama Jen and Parker caused in their short time inside? And, don't forget that Jacob is Sharon's lonnnnnnnng-time love and current ex-boyfriend. Might be fun to bring him back in to trump up her game a little.
So this is great. We get to decide what to do with our little guinea pigs.
Who do you want to bring back in, and what's your reasoning?
Who would do the most damage and who wouldn't even cause a ripple?
Could Allison even have a chance of being brought right back in?
Do we really want to once again hear the overuse of "bueno!" from Amanda?
Go to cbs.com and vote and
let me know what you decide and WHY!
