BB9 Blog: The Lesbian Lie Comes Out
LOS ANGELES (CBS) ―
It's Day 21 and Alex and Amanda have just walked out the door.
Matt: "Everyone needs a group hug right now. I need some love."
He might need some love, but there's no love lost between Joshuah and Allison. They dive right into it.
Joshuah: "Ever since Allison lied to me about being a lesbian, I've been personally offended as a gay man. She is the biggest liar and manipulator."
Why isn't he blowing up at Sheila, the other half of the 'Lesbian Lie?'
He starts to lose it,
as we've known Joshuah to do before. He makes fun of Allison's dress and how tired it is and how he hopes everyone watching notices that. Mean. I thought it was cute.
Joshuah: "You're the ugliest one in the house."
Ryan can't figure out why Joshuah hates Allison so much. "I think Josh is psychotic. This is the second time he's flipped out."
Does Ryan not yet know about the lie? Hmmm..
Matt tries to mediate a reconciliation between Allison and Joshuah, but naturally that doesn't work.
Allison: "I don't need a hug from anybody!"
Then she goes off and cries in the diary room. "I have been nothing but good in this game and I'm not gonna put up with this s__t. I'm not gonna take it."
Ryan tries to console her, but is still confused by this whole fight. Why is this happening, he asks.
Allison: "I know why. Everyone in here is intimidated by me."
Oh.
Later, intimidating-Allison turns on Matt and Ryan. Yes, the same Matt and Ryan who were consoling and nice to her earlier.
Allison: "You two should be ashamed of yourselves for not sticking up for me. I'm way above this. If I were a man, I would never let someone talk to a woman that way. You better never meet my father, I'll tell you that right now."
Something tells me that daddy will be more concerned that his daughter is showing off her mental breakdowns on national television.
Eventually, Joshuah tells Ryan about Allison's lie about being gay. Chelsia confirms that she bought into the lie, too. Ryan, perpetually duped by the women in his life, is not happy and goes to Allison to get the rest of the story.
Allison: "It was a stupid joke. It was Sheila's idea and it was only going on for a week."
Ryan: "But it shows everyone in the house how manipulative you are."
Allison: "So what. You're being such a jerk."
Ryan: "No one likes you in this house. Everyone believes that you're a manipulative, compulsive liar."
Allison: "If you aren't in this with me, I don't want to be in this with you particularly either."
Did Allison not get the memo about soul-mate alienation? Hah, and speaking of, are we calling ANY of these people soul-mates anymore?
Maybe!
Matt and Natalie have a debate about cuddling in bed and eventually they start kissing. Finally we have some people who don't seem two seconds away from stabbing each other!
Matt, self-proclaimed playboy, breaks off the make-out sesh after a few minutes with a "that's all you're getting." He smiles cheekily at the cameras.
Then, a stern warning for Nat.
"Do not get emotionally attached to me. I don't want to hear 'I love you' or anything like that."
This puzzles Natalie. "Matty puts up this wall and tries to push me away. I've never had a guy treat me like that before."
Toto, I have a feeling we're not in The Beaver State anymore!
At the food competition, all the girls have to wear green asparagus uni-tards. Adam is excited about the outfits. "I'm loving every minute of it!" I think he's just happy because he got to use a word with the suffix "tards" in it with no judgment from Sheila.
The yard is filled with crates of asparagus. Each guy has to gauge their girl-partner's weight in asparagus, so the competition is called The Big ASS-Paragus! (And here, all rejected female would-be contestants finally find the silver lining.)
The house-guests win all the food groups except carbs and a feast for the week. Not too shabby -- at least no one has to do slop for a while.
Later, it's back to the fight. Sighh..
Allison: "If you were smart or mature, you'd want to talk to me, Josh"
Sheila is there and somewhat snidely says, "Josh doesn't want to be your friend." Are these two ex-fake-lovers on the outs? Allison might wear it more openly, but I get the feeling that Sheila is every bit as two-faced.
Joshuah says he's ignoring Allison's comments, despite her being, "the typical horrible flat-chested ugly bitch she really is."
But Allison holds her own. "You're not educated enough to understand these things."
Joshuah goes up to his HOH room where Sharon thinks he's getting too riled up. She convinces him to call a house meeting with everyone, except for Allison and Ryan. Of course, all the house-guests want to know is who is going up besides, obviously, Allison and Ryan. There's no clear indication, but Matt doesn't want to be a pawn again.
Downstairs in exile-land, probably-deluded Allison tells Ryan that she could flip back Josh if she wants to. Ryan doubts it.
Still, Allison makes a go of this supposedly easy-as-pie flip and goes up to talk to Sharon and Joshuah. After going on about how sorry she is about everything, and how it was really Sheila's fault, etc. she tells Josh, "you know how much I love you."
He doesn't care, and can barely look at her.
Josh: "Allison is basically groveling to the gods right now. If she thinks she's my friend. that's absolute insanity."
Gods? Really?
Allison smiles as they hug, thinking she's made some kind of headway.
But later, at the Nomination Ceremony, it's no surprise that Allison and Ryan are put up. As are, unfortunately, Matt and Natalie again.
Matt: "We might be the strongest physically, but you know mentally, Natalie... I have a weakness there." Aw! Don't get emotionally attached, Natalie. Please!
So who else is so over the Allison and Joshuah fight? I can't decide which one is more nasty.
I think what this season of Big Brother has shown us so far is that with the majority of the couples, there is one likable person and one who is just intolerable. So far, couples like Parker and Jen, Alex and Amanda have been voted out because the girls have been annoying. Will the same be said of Allison and Ryan?
Not if they win the POV, which, let's admit it, will just bring about some more fun drama. But, is Joshuah's fighting just getting too psycho? What do you think, and even more important,
what do you think will be
the next twist???
