BB9 Blog: The Third Eviction!

 Complete 'Big Brother' News

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― After last night's major drama involving Allison and Amanda, the house guests are definitely in touchy-feely mode. (Did YOU catch that 'Very Special Drunk Episode' of After Dark?!) But, unfortunately, tonight is an eviction and so two people -- Alex/Amanda or Natalie/Matt -- are gonna have to go.

From outside the house, it seems as though Alex got kind of a raw deal, much like Parker. He's been basically upfront with people, seems to be a genuine guy, but unluckily has been saddled with a partner who tends towards being a lightning rod. (A very high-frequency one at that.)

Still, it's no surprise, then, that Alex maintains his good-guy image and refuses to campaign against his forever-bro, Matt.

Matt, on the other hand, appears slightly less scrupulous and says he'll do whatever it takes to stay in the house.

James is pretty happy this his mass effort, aka "Operation Condor" is still in effect. He wants Alex and Amanda out. He also wants to keep raising his arms like wings and going, "Reeeeeoooooaaaaahhh!"

Still, Matt starts stumping for some votes in his favor. He approaches Adam first and receives a resounding "I've got you man, I've got you," from the wide-eyed friend to Autistic children everywhere.

After that, it looks like Matty takes a break from the campaign trail to do a little bench-pressing with Natalie. (No. Not that kind of bench-pressing, but again, if anyone can find those particular scenes from After Dark Sunday night on YouTube, please let me know.)

Natalie wasn't kidding when she said she had some guns. She shows them off as she lifts 60 pounds, with Matt spotting.

Allison watches from a distance and marvels at how strong both Matt and Natalie are, physically. She decides that having them up and ready to go on the chopping block is actually a really good opportunity for everyone. They are a tough couple, and not easily beaten. Now might be the best time to get them out.

Allison brings this up to Adam, Chelsia, James and Joshuah. She feels that Matt and Natalie are just far too strong and have been eating real food all week. Meanwhile, Alex and Amanda have been on slop and are weak and worn down.

Adam continues to defend Matty, though. He's sticking with "Operation Condor."

Surprisingly, James is intrigued by Allison's comments. "Put off Operation Condor and bring up Operation Bro-down. Goodbye Matt and Natalie, I was totally down for that," he says.

Matty, Natalie's coach outside the gym as well apparently, pumps her up and tells her to go after Joshuah and Sharon's votes. She does and promises that she will never nominate them, as HOH, if they keep her now. Joshuah says, "don't stress about it." But after she leaves the room, Joshuah makes a that evil throat-cutting gesture. Gulp!

And it's still anyone's eviction, at this point.

From outside the house, Julie asks about how coming back from being sick has affected the relationships for Amanda and Allison.

Amanda: "I think everyone in the house has had an opportunity to sit down with each other and establish a better relationship."

Julie: "Sounds like a big group hug!"

(Uh yes. Some hugs did happen. And much, MUCH more. Find me that video! But again, I digress.)

Julie asks Sheila about her and Allison's fight/friendship. Adam makes one of his gross faces in the background.

Sheila: "I'm the kind of person who confronts things right away and I've learned that you have to keep things to yourself." She also praises the slop diet as the "best diet I've ever been on in my life." Yeah, it's a great diet. Unless you have food allergies or are hypoglycemic, of course.

Next, we're being treated to a visit outside the house where friends of James and Chelsia talk about why they might be the most successful, unified couple in the house, despite being from very different backgrounds. James is biking around the world to promote peace and prosperity, he says. (And making movies!) His friends say he's the genuine article.

Chelsia's friend (who looks EXACTLY like Chelsia -- so weird!) says that she's a laid-back, giving person, too.

Chelsia: "If you win the money, you should bike around the country again. And I'll follow you on my bike. Except my bike will have a motor."

Julie wants some answers about their strategy as the HOH team.

James: "I really hate a lot of these people. (in the house) These are the kinds of people I'm really against. They won't use the money for the right things. They're very materialistic."

At eviction time, Alex/Amanda and Matt/Natalie thank everyone and talk about how all of them there have become a family. It's really too bad; these two couples are some of the most interesting, so it's a shame to see one set go so soon.

But in a 3-0 vote, Alex/Amanda are booted and Amanda sobs uncontrollably and she and her house-husband hit the road. Back inside, the atmosphere seems relieved. Matt and Natalie thank everyone for the second chance, and James flaps his wings one last time.

In the HOH competition later -- featuring the love quotes from around the house, Sharon and Joshuah win it in a blowout. It'll be interesting now to have this relatively quiet couple (except for Joshuah's one huge explosion) making all the rules.

Julie says goodbye to us... but FIRST, tells us that there is a surprise in store for the couple evicted next week. A surprise that will start a new chapter in the game. Twistarific! Does this mean that we're breaking the couples into singles? Does it mean a former house-guest might move back in? Ah, the suspense! What do you think?!
