Jeff, the advertising agent from Chicago, was given the Coup d'etat power by America and he used it on Thursday night to give Jessie, the bodybuilder, the old heave ho.
CBS
The bodybuilder has no more weight in the "Big Brother" house.
Jessie Godderz, the sometimes surly and always cock sureĀ 23-year-old bodybuilder from Huntington Beach, Calif., was voted off the voyeuristic CBS reality show Thursday after he was spontaneously nominated for eviction by
charming 31-year-old advertising salesman Jeff Schroeder.
Schroeder was secretly voted by viewers to overthrow this week's competition and put up two contestants for dismissal.
Schroeder had the option, as the holder of the secret power, to keep the nominations as is (Russell and Lydia were on the chopping block) or to veto one or both of Chima's choices.
In a stunning turnabout, the one-time rivals Jeff and Russell made a secret alliance after Russell and Jesse (the one-time workout pals and bosom buddies, and that is only a passing reference to the fact both have massive chests) had one of several blowups earlier in the week over trust issues.
Chima and Russell, who looked like they were bordering on a showmance, have since had a huge blowout of their own and she vowed to get him out of the house. No one was caught more by surprise than Chima who now has to endure Russell... at least one more week.
The beauty of "Big Brother"...one minute you are the best of friends, and the next...bitter rivals.
Jeff used the never-before-granted coup d'etat power (which he called COOP d'etat in the diary room) nominating Jessie and his sidekick Natalie.
After being nominated, Jessie whipped off his shirt to reveal another shirt underneath: that shirt read "The Man, The Myth, The Legend."
Next week, the always unpredictable "Big Brother" says there will be a double eviction.
