A Quick (And We Mean Quick) Catch-Up With Nakomis

(CBS) Jennifer Jeannene "Nakomis" Dedmon was a contestant on BB 5 and All-Stars, so I had the distinct pleasure of living with one of BB's all-time most-fun and free-spirited houseguests not once but twice!

She's still living it up in Texas, and very busy to hear her tell it. Nakomis (which translates to "daughter of the moon"), as she prefers to be called, just had an art show featuring some of her new works.

Getting my pal to sit still, let alone at a computer long enough to chat, is no mean feat...but we got it together recently to catch up with each other before Nakomis had to run off for another art show!

DH: Hey, girl! Let's start with the obvious question...

N: What am I doing now?

DH: No, do you miss me!

N: LOL Of course I do! You know that!

DH: Are you still in Texas?

N: I sure am.

DH: You still working as a waitress at the Hard Rock?

N: Hell no!! The best part of the whole ordeal with "Big Brother" was not realizing how good you had it until you got home. Or what you had when you got home. You leave for three months and get a lot of perspective.

DH: Was it easier to get back to the real world after All-Stars?

N: Yeah, for sure. Cause with All-Stars I was home in like 2 weeks!

DH: Are you watching BB9? Who do you like? Who do you think sucks? Don't hold back.

N: To be honest, no, I'm not watching. Not a huge fan of reality TV.

DH: That's surprising.

N: Reality shows put writers out of work. And don't you think they are all starting to look and sound the same?

DH: Did you enjoy your BB5 experience at least?

N: I did. It was fun...but you know, I don't have to tell you...it sucked at the same time.

DH: What is your thought now about the show introducing you to your half brother, Michael (aka Cowboy) on BB5?

N: We do keep in touch.

DH: Why did you decide to do All-Stars?

N: Simple. The money.

DH: Why do you suppose you, I and Jase were such targets from the get-go.

N: I think our season was still very fresh in people's minds. And they were clearly scared of us...they were scared we would make an alliance.

DH: Overall, do you think BB portrayed the real Nakomis?

N: Sure.

DH: Do you still keep in touch with people from both shows?

N. You. And Karen. That's about it.

DH: How's the love life? You and Donald still together?

N: Nope. We broke up. And at the moment, I don't have time for a love life!

DH: I know you are very busy with the art...how is that going?

N: It is going so well. I've just had one of my first art shows...with more to come!

DH: Well, I know you have to run. I'm glad we got to catch up a little bit!

N: Same here! Call me sometime!!
