Autism Group Asks CBS To Kick Adam Out Of BB9

LOS ANGELES (CBS) ― The website TMZ is reporting that a group called Autism United has written a letter to CBS honchos asking that the show "Big Brother 9" dump houseguest Adam after he used the term "retard" to describe people with learning disabilities.

In addition to wanting Adam dumped, the group also says the show should be cancelled "immediately."

According to the website, John Gilmore, executive director for Autism United, also told CBS that he contacted many of the show's advertisers (including Geico, Taco Bell and Theraflu) and wanted to know if they wanted their products associated with "language that demeans the people with autism and other disabilities."

Adam's supposed soulmate Sheila already blasted Adam for the unfortunate remark telling him that he should be ashamed for using such a term to describe someone.
