Open Call Audition Process:
Participants will fill-out an *application prior to their Audition. Participants will turn in their completed application and one photograph (which must be a close-up of your face – "head shot") then, proceed to audition in front of a camera where you will be asked several questions and requested to "walk" and "model" Fantastic Sams products (provided), for up to 2 minutes on-camera. CBS 2 will submit all eligible on-camera entries. Applicants must be present to apply.
* Applications may be downloaded HERE and filled out in advance of the Open Call. Applications will also be available at the Open Call to fill out. Be sure to also download the Eligibility Requirements HERE. Please note: Participants can receive an optional styling (lasting up to 15 minutes) provided by Fantastic Sams before auditioning in front of the camera. There is no charge for the styling. Participants will be styled in the order in which they line up for the Audition.
Age, Citizenship, Etc. Requirements: • All applicants must be age 18 or older at the time of application. You will be required to show valid proof that you are at least 18 years of age at the open casting call (e.g., driver's license, birth certificate, etc.).
• All applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States as of the date of entry.
• All applicants must not now be a candidate for public office, and if selected as a participant, you must agree not to become a candidate for public office until after the initial broadcast of all programs in which you appear.
Grand Prize: One grand prize winner may be selected from among the five finalists or the semi-finalists to receive a prize that will include appearing as a model on the Price is Right for five shows on a date to be determined by Producers. The grand prize winner may be chosen by the Producers, or by a public online vote.
Participants may experience a long waiting period before their Open Call audition.
Applicants will be chosen from across the United States for an approximate total of five to fourteen semi-finalists. If you are selected by the Producers for the first Los Angeles audition, you must be willing to audition in Los Angeles September 22-24, 2008. If you are selected by the Producers for the second Los Angeles audition, you must be willing to audition in Los Angeles October 6-8, 2008. All dates and locations listed in these eligibility requirements and in the application form are subject to change in the Producers' sole discretion without notice.
The Producers reserve the right to change any of the rules, eligibility requirements and terms, including the terms of any prizes to be awarded at any time without notice. The Producers also reserve the right to add, cancel and/or substitute other cities as interview locations for the first-round casting calls.
NOTE: You are not required to bring a videotape to the open call.
